Marta’s daughter, Mimi, is a poppet. Like her mum she is loyal, loving and very versatile; not quite as calm as her mum yet (!) but she is gradually maturing. Mimi was 11 weeks old when we went into lockdown; like so many others at the time, she missed out on puppy classes and training, ringcraft, showing etc. We did a term of online Rally training during lockdown.
Aly took her gundog training on a one-to-one basis initially, and small group training sessions as and when Covid restrictions allowed. Mimi also went to Hoopers classes, passing her Bronze and Silver. She is highly intelligent and very quick at picking up new skills, although…..if you ask her to do the same thing 5 times over, after the fourth time she will look at you as if to say, I’ve grasped that, can we move on now?

 

She has been shown a couple of times winning a few rosettes, but we think gundog training/work will be her forte as she loves it. She recently attained The Gundog Club Grade 1 HPR Field Test.
